| bolt holes.. and want to use somthing like you mentioned (slender, cylindrical shape etc) Why not just make your own? get a punch and make some scratches or use tape, paint etc. Making your own graduation marks. First line = M6, second m8 etc.. etc. You are only going to have a few different sizes to mess with anyways.
